The detailed embroidery work in the following quilts is a unique work of art. The effect of the "chicken scatch" or "Colonial lace" stitches on the stars on the different colors of gingham is amazing. It looks as if a piece of lace is stitched onto the gingham. You may choose any color gingham and even the color thread used to outline the lace star. Each quilt is also quilted the traditional way--all hand quilted.
